Zhongtong YEA Technology Enters Asia-Pacific Market, Driving Green Transportation Innovation
The Zhongtong YEA Green Exploration Journey kicked off in Brisbane, Australia, marking the beginning of a new era of green transportation in the Asia-Pacific region. Customers from Australia, the Philippines, Singapore, New Zealand, Fiji, Hong Kong, and other Asia-Pacific countries and regions gathered to witness this historic milestone.
During the event, Zhongtong debuted its industry-leading new energy technology, YEA, in the Asia-Pacific region. The YEA platform directly addresses key challenges faced by the commercial vehicle industry, such as insufficient range, low operational efficiency, inadequate power, limited uptime, poor operational stability, limited experience in new energy vehicle operation, and higher total cost of ownership compared to traditional fuel vehicles.
Several Zhongtong new energy bus models based on the YEA platform were showcased, featuring comprehensive optimizations for long-distance travel, addressing customer pain points. The Zhongtong C12E and E12 series, which combine advanced battery technology with intelligent control systems, enhance range and significantly reduce energy consumption and maintenance costs. Additionally, the 2024 E7S microcirculation electric bus was officially unveiled, following its earlier release in Europe and the Middle East. Already in regular operation in Qatar, this model is designed for urban feeder lines, making it ideal for narrow city streets and congested areas. The E7S offers an innovative solution for metropolitan operators by addressing the “last mile” of urban transportation and now fully enters the Asia-Pacific market.
