Smart Buses Head to Xinjiang! 165 Foton Ouhui Buses Delivered in Bulk to Hotan
In the golden autumn of October, Xinjiang, with its breathtaking beauty, marks a new chapter in the development of its green transportation system. On October 18, 2024, a ceremony for the donation of new energy buses, organized by Beijing, took place in Hotan, Xinjiang. Beijing has once again donated 165 Foton Ouhui new energy smart buses to help upgrade the region's smart transportation system with high-quality vehicles.
Twelve years ago, Beijing donated 60 Foton Ouhui buses to Hotan, which are still operating in the city's streets. Over the past 12 years, these Ouhui buses have achieved zero operational breakdowns, transporting a total of 102 million passengers and covering an accumulated distance of over 22.73 million kilometers. Now, with the donation of 165 new buses, Beijing is helping Hotan’s public transportation enter a new era of green and intelligent transit.
The donated buses, designed and manufactured by Foton Ouhui, reflect national standards of excellence and contribute to Beijing-owned enterprises' efforts to support public transportation in Xinjiang. Along with the buses, Foton Ouhui has introduced a series of intelligent technology solutions, assisting Xinjiang in advancing toward becoming a strong transportation hub.
The Foton Ouhui BJ6105 smart buses, custom-built to suit Hotan’s unique geographical and climatic conditions, feature strong power, low noise, lightweight design, and enhanced safety. The buses’ exteriors are grand and modern, blending seamlessly with Hotan’s scenic landscape. Additionally, the interior offers more spacious seating and wider passenger views, providing a more comfortable public travel experience.
To meet the demand for green upgrades in public transportation, the BJ6105 smart buses use top-tier electric systems, a dedicated new energy axle, and an air suspension system, making the buses more comfortable and reliable with an uptime rate exceeding 98%. Furthermore, the buses are equipped with the e-AIR intelligent circulation system and a smart control screen, which help reduce energy consumption and further support the green and smart upgrade of Xinjiang’s public transportation system.
