Foton Bus Xinjiang Roadshow: High-Performance Buses for Complex Terrains
Foton Bus Xinjiang Roadshow
With the implementation of China’s new Western Development strategy, the western economy is rapidly advancing, unlocking vast opportunities across various markets. BAIC Group, responding to the national strategy, has tailored its Western Development Strategy to align its corporate strengths with the unique demands of the western bus market. This initiative focuses on five key areas: products, policies, experiences, services, and ecosystems, aiming to enhance its brand, market presence, and customer service while driving economic growth in the west.
In support of BAIC’s strategic plan, Foton Bus launched a 16-day roadshow in Xinjiang from December 4 to December 19. Starting in Urumqi and covering cities such as Changji, Yili, Korla, Aksu, and Hotan, the roadshow aimed to showcase Foton’s advanced technology and high-quality services, fostering collaboration and unlocking new business opportunities in western China.
Xinjiang's diverse terrain—mountains, basins, deserts, and grasslands—alongside its extreme weather conditions, requires buses capable of handling complex environments. Foton’s BJ6906 and BJ6122 premium buses, showcased during the roadshow, are designed with durability and stability to meet these challenges. Features like optimized suspension systems, temperature control equipment, and advanced sealing technology ensure comfort and reliability, even in harsh climates with large temperature variations and dusty environments.
These buses are equipped with energy-saving technologies, achieving over 10% fuel efficiency, making them both cost-effective and environmentally friendly. The roadshow garnered strong support from local governments and media, significantly boosting Foton’s brand recognition and opening avenues for new partnerships while reinforcing ties with existing clients.
Foton Bus remains committed to expanding its footprint in western China, delivering superior products and services tailored to local needs, and enhancing transportation experiences for passengers across the region.
