Foton Secures Major Electric Bus Order in Australia

    Recently, Foton Motor signed an agreement with its Australian distributor for a bulk order of electric buses procured by the New South Wales Government. This milestone strengthens Foton's leadership in new energy technology and sustainable mobility, marking a significant step forward in clean and efficient transportation for the Australian market.

    Under NSW's Zero-Emission Bus Plan, over 8,000 diesel and gas buses will transition to zero-emission technology. Foton secured the first batch, supplying 128 electric buses. This win highlights Foton’s strong industry influence and technical expertise, further advancing its strategic presence in Australia.

     Foton has built a solid industry reputation in Australia’s energy transition, gaining government recognition for its high-performance electric buses. These EU- and ADR-certified vehicles offer exceptional efficiency, safety, and comfort, revitalizing Australia's public transport system.

    In collaboration with local partners, Foton also secured approval for a new manufacturing facility in southern Australia. Focused on electric buses, trucks, and hydrogen fuel cell engines, this initiative will create around 100 jobs, supporting regional economic growth and zero-emission transport solutions.
