At that time, the market was still hesitant about Chinese bus brands despite showing interest in Golden Dragon’s Navigator model. Concerns over quality created a significant barrier to entry. However, rather than being discouraged, Golden Dragon remained committed to the Middle Eastern market, steadily building a solid reputation through superior product quality and exceptional after-sales service.

    A turning point came when the Omani customer acquired and tested second-hand Golden Dragon school buses from the Kuwaiti market. Despite being retired from service, these buses performed exceptionally well, demonstrating their durability and reliability. This firsthand experience shattered any lingering doubts, paving the way for Golden Dragon’s success. In 2024, the company secured initial orders of 30 and 20 Coaster school buses for the Omani market.

    To better cater to local needs, Golden Dragon customized its buses with safety upgrades and enhanced passenger comfort. During a factory visit, the end customers highly praised these tailored modifications, strengthening their confidence in the brand and laying the groundwork for further collaboration.

    Building on this trust, Golden Dragon entered 2025 with even greater momentum, securing a major order for 100 Coaster school buses in Oman.
