Zhongtong N-Series Buses Enhance Public Transport in Namangan, Uzbekistan

    Recently, the first batch of 30 Zhongtong N-Series city buses was officially delivered to Namangan Province in Uzbekistan. This delivery represents a significant advancement in upgrading and enhancing the region's public transportation system.

    In recent years, the Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan, in collaboration with local governments, has been working to enhance the quality of public transport services across various provinces and facilitate easier travel for residents. They have been accelerating the renewal of public bus fleets while simultaneously strengthening public transportation infrastructure and improving operational models. This initiative promotes a comprehensive upgrade and development of the national public transit system.

    The buses delivered to Namangan are all Zhongtong N-Series models powered by natural gas. They are equipped with high-efficiency natural gas engines from Weichai, combined with lightweight vehicle technology. These features ensure low gas consumption and robust power performance, allowing for a driving range of up to 350 kilometers on a single refueling.

    In accordance with local operational requirements, all buses are designed with low-entry steps and are equipped with ramps to accommodate passengers with disabilities. With a high passenger capacity and ease of boarding, these buses can effectively meet the demands of peak-hour commuting. Furthermore, they are fitted with automatic transmissions to enhance ease of operation and convenience.

    The deployment of this batch of buses will greatly enhance travel for local residents, particularly the elderly and students. Simultaneously, Namangan Province has constructed dedicated bus lanes on key roads, including Islam Karimov Street, Alisher Navoi Street, and Nozim Nomangani Street, significantly improving the efficiency of bus transit.

    With the delivery of these Zhongtong N-Series city buses, the quality of Namangan's public transport service and its operational capacity are expected to improve significantly. This enhancement will provide residents with better commuting experiences, elevate the city's image, and promote the development of urban infrastructure in the region.
