Customized for High-Temperature Environments: 155 Golden Dragon Buses Bound for Kuwait

      In 2025, Golden Dragon has once again achieved remarkable success in the Middle Eastern market. A total of 155 buses recently departed from Xiamen Port, heading to Kuwait. Among them, 100 Golden Dragon “Jincheng” buses will serve Kuwait’s healthcare system, providing efficient and comfortable transportation for public medical staff. This is the largest bus procurement order in the Kuwaiti market this year, further highlighting the competitiveness of Chinese manufacturing in the Middle East.

      The delivered Golden Dragon “Jincheng” buses have undergone comprehensive upgrades in craftsmanship and customized design. Featuring a monocoque body structure, the vehicles offer spacious interiors with ergonomically arranged seating. Compared to existing local models, they deliver significant improvements in noise insulation, air conditioning performance, and ride comfort.

      Kuwait’s tropical desert climate is characterized by long, scorching summers, with temperatures often exceeding 50°C and ground temperatures reaching up to 80°C under direct sunlight. Such extreme heat poses a severe challenge to vehicle air conditioning systems and cooling performance. Leveraging years of experience in the Middle Eastern market, Golden Dragon has made targeted optimizations for this environment. These include upgraded high-power AC compressors and condensers, larger cooling fans, and other enhancements to ensure effective cooling inside the vehicle, maintaining a comfortable cabin temperature even under intense heat. Additionally, air conditioning filters and ventilation ducts have been treated for dust resistance to cope with frequent sandstorms, ensuring clean air circulation.

      “We dispatched a technical team to conduct on-site research during the design phase and discovered that local users place far greater importance on air conditioning efficiency and reliability than in typical regions,” said Guo Weiqi, Manager of Middle East and Southeast Asia Operations at Golden Dragon’s Overseas Sales Division. “In real-world summer tests in Kuwait, the air conditioning system of these vehicles was able to reduce the cabin temperature from 55°C to a comfortable range within 30 minutes. Even after operating continuously for more than eight hours, it maintained stable performance.” This “tailored” design gives Golden Dragon buses a distinct competitive edge under extreme environmental conditions.

      With the deployment of this batch, the total number of Golden Dragon buses in Kuwait has surpassed 1,000 units. Golden Dragon revealed that it will continue to increase R&D investment in the Middle Eastern market, introducing more models suited to high-temperature and high-dust conditions for public transport and tourism applications.
